Soonjung Vellek

Leading JRJ’s interiors studio department, Senior Interior Design and Project Manager Soonjung Vellek brings to the team over three decades of commercial and institutional project experience from throughout the Pacific Northwest.  Her repeat client success reflects a high level of personal service and responsiveness coordinating the diverse needs of facility managers, end users, property owners and contractors.

Soonjung earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from the University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas and her Minor in Fine Art from University of Texas San Antonio.

When not designing innovative interior spaces, Soon enjoys watching others be creative on various home improvement and cooking shows. Traveling and exploring Portland’s restaurant scene inspire her future designs and entertaining her 3-year old French Bulldog “Remy” keep her weekends active.
